We’re so proud of Hyacinth Tucker, Founder of The Laundry Basket, for receiving a Governor’s Citation for her outstanding community work. Hyacinth pitched at a Capital Catalyst Initiative showcase last year and secured a $5,500 loan, which was funded by an investor in our community. This win is a testament to the power of IFEL’s network and the impact of platforms like Kiva. Hyacinth has since expanded her business to Northeast Ohio and Toronto—a true success story!
