Collaboration will Further Strengthen Entrepreneurial Ecosystems Across the Nation
NEWARK, NJ, October 28, 2024—Today, the Institute For Entrepreneurial Leadership (IFEL), a national nonprofit organization that works to create greater inclusion within the entrepreneurial ecosystem, announced their third annual collaboration with WOCIP, a national nonprofit organization that works to advance health equity. The collaboration will feature three leading founders in the healthcare space during WOCIPs annual conference on November 8-9, 2024, in Phoenix, Arizona.
“This model of collaboration is a great example of our success circle model. Connecting people is just the beginning. Our featured founders are all healthcare professionals and the facetime they will have with other people doing similar work is invaluable.” said Johnson. “Our organization’s continuous work to support entrepreneurs and founders in their specific fields depends on building relationships with allies like WOCIP.”
On November 8, conference attendees will participate in Creating Conscious Collisions, a transformative 15-city national tour hosted by IFEL. The event brings together investors, executives, allies and champions to leverage their collective energy and resources to propel entrepreneurs. Featured entrepreneurs include: Dianne Austin, Co-founder and CEO of Coils to Locs; Elizabeth Clayborne, MD, Founder & CEO of Nasaclip; and Sanna Gaspard, PhD, CEO of Rubitection.
On November 9, Jill Johnson, CEO and Co-Founder of IFEL, will moderate a fireside which will delve into the journeys of these dynamic entrepreneurs from fundraising to their challenges with accessing capital.
Together, they will leverage their network to engage allies on the importance of early-stage support for entrepreneurs and founders.
For more than twenty years, IFEL, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has been working to eradicate the systemic barriers that prevent historically excluded populations from accessing the knowledge, networks, and capital required for entrepreneurial success.
