Lori Anne Oliwa

Lori Anne Oliwa is the public relations manager for the Institute For Entrepreneurial Leadership, an appropriate position considering her lifelong dedication to promoting principles of entrepreneurship. Lori Anne joined IFEL because, as a business owner herself, she is passionate about amplifying the mission of the organization and is eager to communicate about the effective and innovative capacity-building programs offered to entrepreneurs. "IFEL possesses so many resources and might just be the most powerful business network in New Jersey and beyond," Lori Anne said, referring to the IFEL leadership and to the base of volunteers - business industry leaders - who are donating time and talents to help the next budding class of entrepreneurs.

Possessing entrepreneurial spirit early in life, Lori Anne forged her first business venture as a teenager. From that time on, the labels of ‘founder,’ ‘owner’ and ‘president’ have always applied. A graduate of Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York as an English and Journalism major with concentration in Foreign Languages, Lori Anne is a natural storyteller and has an innate talent for devising angles and creating compelling communications. She started The Write Angles LLC, a public relations, marketing & event consultancy, in 2009. As a professional publicist, Lori Anne leverages her experience as a journalist with extensive media contacts and connections to advance client and organizational interests. Her roster of clients includes several celebrities including Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino and Berto Colon of ‘Orange Is The New Black.’

Lori Anne is also a community volunteer and philanthropist and has served in many leadership roles on a variety of local, county, regional, state and national boards, committees and commissions, always taking a very proactive role and lending visibility and credibility to every endeavor. She was the first president of the Friends of The Middletown Township Public Library and only the second female president in the 75-year history of the Middletown Lions Club. As a founder of the Monmouth County Women’s Political Caucus, a chapter of the Women’s Political Caucus of New Jersey, Lori Anne was instrumental in building a bi-partisan coalition of political activists to encourage more women to run for public office and to assist with fundraising for candidates on both sides of the aisle. Lori Anne currently serves on the Atlantic Highlands Historical Society Board of Directors and has previously served on organizational boards including Citizens For Informed Land Use, Poricy Park Conservancy, Northern Monmouth Chamber of Commerce, New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners, Meridian Paint The Town Pink, and Monmouth Regional Chapter of the Women’s Political Caucus of New Jersey.
